Episode 10, Part 1: Black History Month

Today when people talk about black history month their mixed feelings towards it. Many speak of it as African American history being confined to one month, a form of slavery and reducing complex figures to simplified heroes of worship. Those are just a few of the criticism that are out there. We all understand African American history is either not taught, under taught miss taught or heavily diluted in most educational systems in the United States. But there are other ways to approach this subject that is very sensitive in a lot of spaces.
