Episode 7, Part 4: Science or Religion
Further debate is that when you look at religion, you must consider how many religions are currently being observed today, how religion has transformed over time, how religions were spread, why some religions are no longer practiced and the validity of each religion. Again, most will be taught that in some religions it is up to one’s interpretation of it. For instance, when I was growing up, I never knew or was taught that many of the religions that I thought were separate were all denominations of Christianity. I also learned of all the atrocities that occurred under Christianity from the beginning of time to the days of slavery and even up to know. It’s a very large pill to accept and swallow for me. When I look at religion, regardless of what it is, they all hold the basic concepts of life. Lastly, who are we as anyone on this planet to say one person’s religious beliefs are wrong.

Sun Sou X and I chose this topic that has been on our list to discuss because it is one for good debate regardless of where you stand. Even though we share a lot of similar views, we do look at certain aspects differently. the one thing that I think we mutually agree on is, does it really matter? To may it does and to many it doesn’t, but it takes the individual to look inside of themselves to truly decide.
