Episode 7, Part 5: Science or Religion
The fundamentals of science have a greater impact on life to me because I can see and understand the workings of nature. Evolution makes sense to me. The acts of man as it pertains to the degradation of the planet makes sense to me. The way in which disease affects all beings on the planet makes sense to me. These few things can’t be justified through religion in my point of view. Which leads to the discussion of “God knows best”, “It’s all in God’s plan” and everything in life is written. Also, when I look at this debate, I personally refuse to believe that we are the only planet that contains life in this vast universe that we live in. scientifically I feel like it is impossible.

Sun Sou X and I chose this topic that has been on our list to discuss because it is one for good debate regardless of where you stand. Even though we share a lot of similar views, we do look at certain aspects differently. the one thing that I think we mutually agree on is, does it really matter? To may it does and to many it doesn’t, but it takes the individual to look inside of themselves to truly decide.
